Light & Wonder Q3: iGaming up 13%, SciPlay down 12%, guidance toward lower end
Light & Wonder, Inc. (ASX: LNW) reported third-quarter 2026 results on 4 November after the US market close.
Consolidated revenue was $824m, down 2% from $841m a year earlier. Net income rose 17% to $133m, or $1.72 per share (+28%). Consolidated adjusted EBITDA rose 2% to $383m. Net cash from operating activities was $236m (+28%); adjusted free cash flow was $181m (+21%). The company cut the principal face value of debt by $153m in the quarter to $5.0bn and reported net debt leverage of 3.3x, from 3.4x at mid-year.
Gaming revenue was $554m (−1%). Gaming operations revenue (including Grover charitable gaming) rose 3% to $248m; machine sales rose 5% to $199m; gaming systems revenue fell 24% to $55m. The North American Gaming operations premium installed base grew for a 25th consecutive quarter, adding 2,657 units year on year.
iGaming revenue rose 13% to $97m, with wagers processed through the platform at a quarterly record of $31.7bn. SciPlay revenue fell 12% to $173m amid ongoing softness in social casino free-to-play; average monthly paying users were 426,000, down from 514,000.
For the full year, Light & Wonder said it expects consolidated adjusted EBITDA growth toward the lower end of its previously announced mid-to-high single-digit range, citing social-casino weakness and some delayed customer investment timing, partly offset by recurring-revenue growth and an expected seasonally strong fourth quarter.
Kambi Q3: revenue +23%, guidance tightened to about €26m
Kambi Group plc published its Q3 2026 report on 4 November 2026 at 07:45 CET under the EU Market Abuse Regulation.
Third-quarter revenue was €46.0m (+23% year on year). Gross profit was €37.2m (+16%) at an 80.9% margin. Adjusted EBITA (acq) rose 161% to €7.9m at a 17.3% margin. Operating profit was €5.1m. January–September revenue was €135.4m (+13.5%) and adjusted EBITA (acq) €21.2m (+106%). Earnings per share for the quarter were €0.128.
The company updated full-year estimated adjusted EBITA (acq) to around €26m from the previous €23–27m range. Operational highlights in the report include a landmark 10-year omni-channel sportsbook and PAM partnership with Station Casinos in Nevada; Turnkey Sportsbook agreements with Pure Casino Entertainment and QuinnBet and an Odds Feed+ deal with RETABET; launches with multiple operators in Alberta's newly regulated online market; and continued AI trading rollout, with 85% of network bets traded through the AI system.
CEO Werner Becher said Brazil's online gambling ban had limited near-term impact because Brazil was a low single-digit share of 2026 revenue, while removing longer-term growth potential in that market.
Wazdan goes live with Veikkaus in Finland
Wazdan said on 2 November 2026 that it has entered the Finnish market through a partnership with Veikkaus. The integration runs via Light & Wonder's aggregation platform. Three titles are initially available to Veikkaus players: Hot Slot: 777 Platinum Crown, Hot Slot: 777 Gold Crown and Mighty Hot: 777, with further titles planned.
The deal comes ahead of Finland's Gambling Act reform scheduled for 1 July 2027, when Veikkaus is due to split its gambling business and move sports betting and online casino into a separate app. Commercial director Bekki D'Agata said Finland is an important market and that partnering with the established national operator is central to Wazdan's regulated-market strategy. Veikkaus VP iCasino Riikka Seppänen welcomed the studio to the Finnish market.
Imagine Live's first Belgium and Netherlands deals with Gaming1
Imagine Live said on 2 November 2026 that it has partnered with Gaming1 to launch its live casino portfolio in Belgium and the Netherlands — its first operator agreements in both regulated markets. Gaming1 will offer Imagine Live's live dealer games and original game shows, including titles such as Land of Ra and Roulette Rouge. Imagine Live says it has grown to 19 game types since 2022 and operates more than 200 tables across studios in Armenia, Romania and Spain.
Chief commercial officer Nadiya Attard framed the Gaming1 deals as an important step in European expansion; Gaming1's Charlène Renier tied the collaboration to regulatory compliance and player protection in Belgium's regulated market.
