Sneako sues Duel casino in Florida federal court over AI-generated gambling videos

Streamer Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, known as Sneako, has sued Immortal Snail LLC, the company behind crypto casino Duel.com, in federal court in Miami. The complaint alleges that Duel promoted itself with AI-generated videos that showed him gambling on the site and endorsing it as a "Halal casino" without his consent.

Overview

  • Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, the streamer known as Sneako, filed a complaint and demand for jury trial against Immortal Snail LLC, doing business as Duel.com, in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Miami Division, his lawyers said on October 27, 2026.
  • The complaint alleges that Duel used "fabricated artificial-intelligence content" to advertise its gambling platform with his identity and likeness.
  • Duel apologised in September for a video of Sneako praying on one of its blackjack tables. Duel had not publicly responded to the lawsuit as of October 27.

What the complaint alleges

According to the first page of the complaint, published by his lawyers, Duel or people acting at its direction "manufactured and disseminated realistic AI-generated videos" that falsely showed Sneako gambling on Duel, celebrating gambling winnings, praying over a blackjack table and "expressly endorsing Duel as a purported 'Halal casino.'"

The complaint says he "never authorized these advertisements," never consented to the commercial use of his likeness for Duel and never made the endorsements attributed to him. Counsel from Muslim Legal and attorney Anthony Sabatini described the case as one over "deception, defamation, and exploitation." The copy that was published shows no case number.

Duel's earlier response

The prayer-rug video circulated in mid-September. Duel then said in a statement, as reported by the Times of India, that the "tone-deaf edit" had been "executed end to end by our content team" and that the employee responsible had been fired.

Who runs Duel

Duel's terms of service name Immortal Snail LLC, a company registered in Nevis, as its operator. The site holds a licence from Anjouan, in the Comoros, that excludes the United States. Immortal Snail also faces a separate federal case brought by X Corp. in the Northern District of Texas (No. 4:26-cv-01254, filed September 28, 2026), in which X alleges that Duel's founder and his associates compromised X accounts and bribed X employees to reinstate suspended accounts used to promote the casino.

None of the allegations in either case have been tested in court.
