Fortune Gems 3 by JILI Expert Review
Updated:
Here you can find detailed review information about Fortune Gems 3 by JILI.
Fortune Gems 3 puts its most interesting new multiplier inside each winning line. The familiar 3×3 grid, five paylines and separate multiplier reel remain, but a symbol can now split into two or three copies. When more than one split symbol lands on a winning line, their multipliers multiply together. It is a small change to the layout that gives you much more to read in the result.
What I liked
✅ Five fixed lines keep the basic rules approachable
✅ I like how split multipliers add a clear change while keeping the action on the main reels
✅ Ordinary and EX costs are visible in the controls
✅ The main feature unfolds in the stopped reel result
What I didn’t like
❌ Several lines with split symbols take more effort to read than in the original
❌ Win highlights and count-up animation can temporarily cover details
❌ EX costs 50% more, without enough published probability detail to establish a long-term advantage
❌ Portrait feels cramped, and demo restarts interrupt continuous play
If you enjoy working out how symbols combine, the third game has a clear appeal. If the Lucky Wheel presentation was your favourite part of Fortune Gems 2, you may still prefer that game.
A real 10-second EX spin sequence at Normal speed. The clip ends while BIG WIN is still counting; the spin later settled at 3.84. This silent clip was assembled from consecutive screenshots in their original time order.

The appeal is easy to grasp: the main grid creates winning lines, the right-hand reel scales them up, and split symbols can give different lines different boosts. JILI has kept the compact layout and five familiar paths. Most of the extra complexity comes from multiplication, especially when the same split symbol sits on more than one winning line.
Philippines search interest
Ahrefs estimates around 700 Google searches a month in the Philippines for “fortune gems 3” and 900 for “fortune gems 3 demo”. These are average monthly searches over the latest 12 months available in Ahrefs, checked on 4 October 2026. The higher estimate for the demo query suggests that many searchers want to try the game. The figures count searches, not players, and the overlapping keywords should not be added together.

The gold stone frame, red, blue and green gems, and gold WILD make this recognisably part of the same series. Fortune Gems 2 often pulls your attention towards its Lucky Wheel. Here, the main grid and right-hand reel take centre stage. Split icons turn familiar symbols into compact stacks: the visual change is easy to notice, although calculating several winning paths still takes a pause.
Bet, Balance and WIN are clearly arranged along the bottom of the desktop layout, and the EX state is visible. One lightning bolt means Turbo; two mean Super Turbo. All 100 spins in our main session used Super Turbo. It shortens the ordinary spinning wait, but the payout counter still has its own animation. The separate Normal-speed clip near the top of this page makes the order of the reel stop and win displays easier to follow.

The AutoSpin panel lets you choose a total number of spins and optional stopping conditions for a single-win multiplier, a balance below a selected value or a balance above one. We opened the panel and cancelled it after inspection; we did not run a sequence to trigger those thresholds. The settings are clearly grouped, but it is worth understanding the spin cost and the selected stopping conditions before using them.

Portrait layout is my biggest interface reservation. The large decorative background in the upper half looks good, but it leaves the symbols and controls crowded into the lower half. The main buttons and amounts remain readable; the number of copies in a split symbol takes a closer look. Landscape gives the grid more room and is easier to inspect.

The landscape layout keeps the full grid and bottom controls visible. After changing the stake up and back, Bet is 0.90 and Balance remains 1,993.04. The 844 × 390 layout was checked through browser viewport simulation.
The official demo also displayed a short-break prompt after spin 77 settled. Re-entering reset the available balance to 2,000. That interrupted the session, so the balance chart below marks the restart separately from the spin results.
How to play: read the five lines first
The main grid has three columns and three rows. Its five valid paths are the middle, top and bottom horizontal lines, plus two diagonals. Matching combinations run from the leftmost reel across all three columns. Each line pays only its highest valid combination, and wins on separate lines are added together. Three matching symbols stacked vertically do not form one of these five paylines.

The gold-mask WILD can substitute for the paying symbols on the main grid and also has its own three-symbol payout. On the fourth reel to the right, only the centre position counts. Help lists 1×, 2×, 3×, 5×, 10× and 15×; the positions above and below it are neighbouring reel positions. A high multiplier on its own produces no line payout when the main grid has no winning line.
You can check the symbol guide already on this page for the individual base payouts. When reading a result, keep three things separate: the base line payout, any split-symbol multipliers on that line, and the multiplier in the centre of the right-hand reel.
Spin 7 in our session is a useful starting example. The left and right reels were filled with Q symbols, while the middle reel was filled with WILDs. That completed all five Q paylines. Each paid 0.60, giving 3.00 across the five lines; the central 2× multiplier then took the final WIN to 6.00.

Split symbols are the reason to try the third game
A split symbol looks like two or three copies of the same icon packed into one grid position. It adds a 2× or 3× multiplier to a winning line passing through that position. If several split symbols share a winning line, their multipliers multiply together. A two-copy symbol, a three-copy symbol and an ordinary symbol therefore produce 2 × 3 × 1 = 6 times the base line payout, before the central reel multiplier is applied.

The easiest way to read a busy result is to find the winning path first, count the copies on that path, then check the central multiplier. Work through each winning line separately. Multiplying every split symbol visible anywhere on the grid would give the wrong result.
Spin 77 showed why that distinction matters. Two red-gem positions on the top row each split into two copies. A separate diagonal also completed a red-gem combination, the bottom row completed a K combination, and the central multiplier was 5×. The three lines paid as follows.
How spin 77 reached 75.60
Winning path | Calculation | Payout |
|---|---|---|
Top: WILD → double red → double red | 2.40 × 2 × 2 × 5 | 48.00 |
Diagonal: WILD → single red → double red | 2.40 × 1 × 2 × 5 | 24.00 |
Bottom: WILD → K → K | 0.72 × 5 | 3.60 |
Total of the three lines | 48.00 + 24.00 + 3.60 | 75.60 |

This is where the third game feels more involved than the original. The grid has not grown, but an ordinary red-gem line and a line passing through two split red gems can pay very different amounts. The cost is readability: enlarged WILDs, highlighted lines and the win counter can compete for attention. I find it easier to let WIN settle, then work back through the paths.
What does the Extra Bet surcharge buy?
Extra Bet adds 50% to the ordinary base stake. With our base stake set to 0.60, an ordinary spin deducted 0.60 and an EX spin deducted 0.90. Help says EX increases the chance of high-multiplier symbols, but does not give their individual probabilities or the size of the increase. Payouts still use the ordinary base-stake table.
Ordinary mode and EX at the same base stake
Cost or setting | Ordinary mode | EX mode |
|---|---|---|
Base stake | 0.60 | 0.60 |
Actual cost per spin | 0.60 | 0.90 |
Total cost for 50 spins | 30.00 | 45.00 |
Base payout table | Uses the 0.60 stake level | Still uses the 0.60 stake level |

Treat the surcharge as an additional entertainment cost. At a base stake of 0.60, the base payout for three Ks is 0.72. Paying the extra 0.30 does not automatically raise that payout to 1.08. Fortune Gems 3 Help also does not explicitly say EX removes 1×, so the rule from the first two games should not be carried over to this one.
I would keep EX optional. It increases the cost of a spin with no payout as well as the cost of a winning spin, and the available probability information is not enough to compare long-term returns. Its appeal depends on how much you enjoy the multiplier feature and whether you are comfortable with the higher cost each time you spin.
To put that recurring cost in context, you can explore hypothetical session swings in our slot simulator.
Our 100 spins were dominated by one payout
We completed 50 ordinary spins followed by 50 EX spins. Total stakes were 75.00 demo units, payouts totalled 106.80, and the net result was +31.80. There were 11 spins with a payout and 89 with none. Spin 77 alone paid 75.60, about 70.8% of all payouts in the session. The strongest impression was the contrast between long stretches without a payout and a small number of larger results.
Results from the 100-spin demo session
Mode | Spins | Stakes | Payouts | Net result |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Ordinary | 50 | 30.00 | 14.40 | −15.60 |
EX | 50 | 45.00 | 92.40 | +47.40 |
Total | 100 | 75.00 | 106.80 | +31.80 |
Four ordinary spins paid something, compared with seven EX spins. Spins 48–64 produced 17 consecutive zero-payout results, a run that crossed the change from ordinary mode to EX. Those quiet stretches made the split-symbol wins stand out, but they also make this a poor fit for someone who wants frequent small feedback. JILI’s official medium-high volatility label is consistent with that impression; 100 spins cannot establish the game’s long-term volatility.

EX finished ahead in this session largely because of spin 77. One sizeable split-symbol result was enough to reshape the entire short sample. I would not use that outcome to predict whether switching on EX will improve another session.
Fortune Gems, Fortune Gems 2 or Fortune Gems 3?
All three games share the compact grid and separate multiplier reel, but they put their main attraction in different places. The useful question is which process you enjoy watching: a straightforward line win multiplied up, a separate wheel feature, or split-symbol multiplication inside the main grid.
How the three Fortune Gems games compare
Feature | Fortune Gems | Fortune Gems 2 | Fortune Gems 3 |
|---|---|---|---|
Main grid and lines | 3×3, 5 lines | 3×3, 5 lines | 3×3, 5 lines |
Main distinction | Line payouts × the central multiplier | Central WHEEL triggers Lucky Wheel | Split symbols multiply within each line |
EX cost | Base stake +50% | Base stake +50% | Base stake +50% |
What Help says about EX | Removes the numerical 1× | Removes the numerical 1×; the green wheel becomes red and adds a random multiplier | Increases the chance of high-multiplier symbols |
Green gem / A / K base payouts | 1.44 / 1.20 / 0.96 | 1.44 / 1.20 / 0.96 | 1.20 / 0.96 / 0.72 |
Official volatility label | LOW-MED | MED | HIGH-MED |
Best fit for your taste | Quick, straightforward line reading | A separate wheel presentation | Reading split symbols and line multipliers |
The three symbol payouts above use the same ordinary base stake of 0.60. Fortune Gems 3 pays less for the green gem, A and K before multipliers than the first two games, while adding its split-symbol mechanic. Those three base values alone do not tell us which game has the higher RTP. For a first introduction to the series, I would use the original Fortune Gems to explain the basic rules. Fortune Gems 2 is more appealing if you enjoy the wheel sequence. The third gives you more to examine in the stopped reels themselves. Short-session profits and losses are a poor basis for ranking which one is “best for winning”.
The verdict
Fortune Gems 3 gives the series a distinct new direction without losing its familiar five-line structure. Split symbols create visible differences between winning paths on the same small grid. The advertised 10,125× maximum is less useful for understanding the game than a worked example like spin 77, where three lines each contribute a different amount.
My recommendation comes down to taste: if you like a compact grid and do not mind taking a moment to read split-symbol multiplication, try Fortune Gems 3 on this page. The original is easier to read at a glance; Fortune Gems 2 suits players who prefer a separate wheel feature. The split mechanic gives returning players a worthwhile reason to look at familiar symbols again, and it is the third game’s strongest feature.
How we tested and what remains untested
We tested JILI’s official free demo, build v_189_86, on 4 October 2026. The main sample was 50 ordinary spins followed by 50 EX spins, all at a base stake of 0.60 and all using Super Turbo. Actual costs were 0.60 and 0.90 respectively. The separate EX spin in the 10-second video used Normal speed and is excluded from those results. The clip ends before its win count finishes.
The mobile check used desktop browser viewport simulation at 390 × 844 and 844 × 390. Physical-phone touch controls, audio and Philippine network performance remain untested. AutoSpin settings were inspected, but automatic stops were not triggered. The session illustrates the mechanics and a short run of outcomes; it does not establish theoretical RTP or long-term performance.
Our rule references were the complete in-game Help and the official JILI product pages below.
