GCash Charged but Casino Deposit Not Credited? What to Do

GCash or Maya charged you but the casino deposit isn't credited? How to check the payment, what to send support, and how to get it posted or refunded.

Your wallet balance went down, but your casino balance did not go up. Don't panic and don't pay again yet. Follow the steps below in order.

Check these three things first:

  1. Did your wallet balance actually go down? If it didn't change, the payment was not processed.

  2. Is there a matching entry in your GCash or Maya transaction history, with a reference number?

  3. What does the casino's deposit history show for that time: nothing, Pending, or Failed?

Don't pay again yet

A second deposit with the same amount makes it harder to trace the first one, and you may end up charged twice. GCash itself says that if you got an error and aren't sure you were charged, don't make another payment right away. Check first.

What to do

Wallet not deducted

The payment did not go through.

You can try again, through the casino's cashier page.

The money left your wallet but the casino has not confirmed it yet.

Send the reference number to casino support (Step 2).

Wallet deducted, casino shows Failed

The payment may be reversed to your wallet.

Watch your wallet for a refund, then contact your wallet's support if it doesn't arrive (Step 3).

What your wallet and the casino are telling you.

Casinos label deposits differently, so use the table as a guide, not a rule.

Step 1: Find the transaction and reference number

  • GCash: open Transactions. A casino deposit made on the casino's site usually appears as Online Payment. If you paid through Pay Bills, it appears as a Bills payment.

  • Maya: open your transaction history and look for the same amount, date and time.

  • Screenshot the entry with the amount, date, time and reference number. Hide your balance and other transactions if you share it.

Step 2: Send casino support one clear message

Use the casino's official live chat or email. Include:

  • Your casino username

  • Deposit amount, date and time

  • Payment method (GCash or Maya) and the reference number

  • The screenshot from Step 1

What to send casino support, and what to ask.

Ask: "Has this payment reached you? If yes, when will it be credited? If not, what reference do you see on your side?" Ask for a ticket number and save the chat.

Step 3: Open a ticket with GCash or Maya

GCash, Online Payment: go to Transactions, select the online payment, then tap Get Help > My payment did not reflect. GCash says its team will review it and reach out to you. Its help article also covers the case where the merchant refunded you but the money hasn't arrived.

GCash, Pay Bills: each biller has a posting period, shown at the top of the payment page. It can take a few hours or a few days. If it is still not posted after that, go to Transactions, select the Bills payment and tap Get Help > My payment hasn't been posted. GCash says that if the transaction failed, you can expect a refund within 24 to 48 hours. If it was successful, GCash says it cannot refund it, and you need to sort it out with the biller, in this case the casino.

Maya: Maya asks you to contact the merchant first to confirm the payment. For Maya Wallet Card, QR and Pay via Number payments, Maya says the merchant has 15 days to settle. If it doesn't, Maya credits the amount back to your account automatically. If you still don't have it after 15 days, you can request a payment reversal through Maya's help center or hotline (+632) 8845-77-88, toll-free 1800-1084-57788.

Step 4: Escalate if nobody fixes it

  1. AskSpinner Complaints. If the casino confirms it received the money but still won't credit it, or stops replying, submit a complaint with your screenshots and ticket numbers.

  2. PAGCOR, for licensed casinos. Use the Online Gaming Platform Helpdesk on PAGCOR's official contact page. Open it only from that page.

The order to follow when a deposit is missing.

Red flags: stop and don't pay

  • "Support" asks you to deposit again or pay a fee to "unlock" the first deposit.

  • You were told to send money to a personal GCash or Maya number instead of paying through the casino's cashier page.

  • Someone asks for your MPIN or one-time code.

These are signs of a scam, not a delay. Read our gambling anti-fraud section before you send anything else.

Quick checklist

  • Confirmed the wallet was actually deducted

  • Did not pay again

  • Saved the transaction screenshot and reference number

  • Sent casino support the details and got a ticket number

  • Opened a GCash or Maya ticket from the transaction

  • Escalated to AskSpinner Complaints or PAGCOR if it is still unresolved

FAQ

Will I get my money back if the deposit never reaches the casino?

If GCash confirms the payment failed, it says to expect a refund within 24 to 48 hours for bills payments. For Maya card, QR and Pay via Number payments, an unsettled payment is credited back after the merchant's 15-day window.

The casino says it never got my money. Who do I believe?

Neither, yet. Give the casino your reference number and open a ticket with your wallet. The wallet can see whether the payment reached the merchant.

Should I deposit again so I can keep playing?

Not until the first one is sorted. A repeat payment can be charged twice and makes the records harder to trace.

Can GCash refund a successful payment?

For bills payments, GCash says successful transactions cannot be refunded by GCash. You need to sort it out with the merchant.
