Wild Bandito by PG SOFT Expert Review
Updated:
Here you can find detailed review information about Wild Bandito by PG SOFT.
A cascading slot that rewards careful reading
I would start Wild Bandito at normal speed and give each cascade time to finish.
What I liked
✅ A winning gold frame becoming the next round’s Wild gives the 5-reel, 4-row board a clear connection between cascades.
✅ History lets me inspect each round’s board and cash award instead of relying on the animation.
✅ Portrait keeps the reel art, wallet and bet readable.
✅ Help makes the bet equation and symbol payouts available to check directly.
What I didn’t like
❌ The multiplier and cumulative win are easy to overread: even a ×7 display can end without another payout, and payout is not profit.
❌ Several changing amounts make fast Turbo play harder to follow at first.
❌ Landscape keeps a narrow portrait stage with small text and controls.
❌ Two demo server errors required resets, and no hands-on Free Spins evaluation was possible in this sample.
The Mexican band theme brings together a sombrero-wearing character, flowered guitars, maracas and skull Scatters. The fixed 1,024 Ways give those symbols room to combine, while the multiplier rises after each winning cascade. In our 100 settled paid demo spins, 60.00 demo units produced 55.17 in payouts, a net loss of 4.83. The attraction here is the mechanism, not evidence of an easy return.
Try the demo at normal speed. Use this page’s embedded demo, when available, and start with ordinary speed. Watch one complete spin finish before reading the total win.
Real demo spin 2 at Normal speed and a 0.60 stake. The 14.436-second clip contains the input, reel motion, stopping and the wait afterward with no audio. The opening 3.03 win belongs to the preceding spin; spin 2 paid 0.00.
What Philippine searches are looking for

Ahrefs Philippines estimates, queried 5 October 2026. These are average monthly keyword searches, not player counts or traffic to this page. “Wild bandito rtp” returned 10; “wild bandito free spins” and “wild bandito review” each returned 0. “Wild bandito how to play” and “wild bandito philippines” were not returned, which is different from a reported zero.
This review covers the English PG public demo, game ID 104. The current runtime build number was not independently visible. PG’s official product page identifies the game; its 3 May 2021 announcement is an announcement date, rather than a verified worldwide release date.
The screen, controls and device layout
The brightest artwork sits inside a narrow portrait stage. Gold borders are recognizable, and the top multiplier is hard to miss. The smaller wallet and bet controls take more attention, particularly in landscape. I prefer the portrait layout because it gives the amounts and symbols more room.
The complete recorded desktop interface after spin 5. The displayed ×7 was a final, non-paying round; the whole-spin payout was 10.80.

Multiplier: applies to the current round’s win. A displayed value does not mean that round paid.
Total win: 10.80 accumulated across spin 5; it is a payout, not the net profit.
Reels: five columns and four rows, with 1,024 fixed Ways. A gold frame is a symbol state.
Wallet: the settled balance here is 100,010.83 demo units.
Wallet menu: opens Cash Wallet and the Sound, Paytable, Rules, History and Quit controls.
Bet: the current complete paid-spin stake, 0.60 in this screen.
Bet Options: opens the Size, Level and Amount selectors. Its currency-shaped icon does not establish the demo’s currency.
Turbo: reduces reel-animation duration. It was on for this spin.
Minus: lowers the bet to another available setting.
Spin: starts a paid spin; the rules also describe tapping during motion to reveal the result sooner.
Plus: raises the bet to another available setting.
Auto Spin: opens the automatic-spin count panel.
Opening the panels
390 × 844 portrait viewport: the full stage and 0.60 bet remain readable. Bet Options: Size × Level × Base Bet determines the complete stake. Wallet menu: this is where the actual Rules and Paytable buttons are located.

Auto Spin was opened and cancelled. The visible choices were 10, 30, 50, 80 and 1,000; automatic play was not run.

When there is no win to show, the center of the lower amount bar displays PG’s shield logo. It is a brand mark, not the help button. Bet settings stayed at 0.60 between manual spins in an active session. After the two error recoveries discussed below, the demo instead reset to its 12.00 default, so checking the bet after Reload matters.
Portrait is clearer than landscape
844 × 390 landscape viewport: the game keeps a centered 220 × 390 stage, making the labels much smaller.

The landscape bet panel opened and could be cancelled without visible clipping.

These are desktop-browser viewport tests, not physical-phone or Philippine-network tests. The main desktop capture was 1280 × 720 on Windows 11; the exact browser engine version was unavailable. Sound was toggled off and back on successfully in the interface, but the music and effects were not audibly evaluated.
How 1,024 Ways pays
Ordinary symbols must match across at least three adjacent reels, beginning on the far left. There are no fixed drawn paylines to follow. Multiply the number of matching symbols on each consecutive reel to count the winning Ways, then apply that symbol’s paytable value, Bet Size, Bet Level and the current round multiplier. Wild substitutes for ordinary symbols, but not Scatter.
Actual spin 5, Round 1: the outlined Q symbols form one four-reel Way. The cyan line is an explanatory overlay on the genuine History board.

One clear calculation: there is one matching Q on each of reels 1–4, giving 1 × 1 × 1 × 1 = 1 Way. The four-reel Q value is 4. At Size 0.03, Level 1 and multiplier ×1:
4 × 0.03 × 1 × 1 Way × 1 = 0.12
The actual History payout was 0.12. Do not multiply the paytable value by the full 0.60 stake, or multiply every win by 1,024. Those are different quantities.
A compact payout comparison. This table is useful for comparing symbol strength and converting table values into one-Way cash amounts. The complete individual symbol cards are provided separately.
Symbol | Table value: 3 / 4 / 5 reels | One Way at Size 0.03, Level 1, ×1 |
|---|---|---|
Sombrero character | 10 / 25 / 50 | 0.30 / 0.75 / 1.50 |
Flowered guitar | 8 / 20 / 40 | 0.24 / 0.60 / 1.20 |
Lime-garnished drink | 6 / 15 / 30 | 0.18 / 0.45 / 0.90 |
Maracas | 5 / 10 / 15 | 0.15 / 0.30 / 0.45 |
A and K, individually | 3 / 5 / 12 | 0.09 / 0.15 / 0.36 |
Q | 2 / 4 / 10 | 0.06 / 0.12 / 0.30 |
J and 10, individually | 1 / 3 / 6 | 0.03 / 0.09 / 0.18 |
All amounts in the last column are demo units before extra Ways or a higher round multiplier. The first four names describe the artwork because the captured Help did not give them formal names. Wild and Scatter have no separately listed cash award in that paytable; that is an unlisted value, not a zero-value award.
Gold frames, cascades and the rising multiplier
After a winning round pays, its winning symbols are removed and symbols fall into place. If another win forms, the same paid spin continues without another base stake. A gold-framed ordinary symbol on reel 2, 3 or 4 becomes Wild in the next round only if it participated in the preceding win.
Spin 5 · Round 1 · ×1 0.12 payout. Gold Q at C2R1 and C4R4 wins. Round 2 · ×2 3.60 payout. Both positions now show Wild. Round 3 · ×3 5.22 payout. Winning gold maracas and drink from Round 2 become Wild on reel 3.

There is a useful counterexample in the first two boards: the gold 10 at C2R3 and gold J at C4R1 did not join the Q win, so they stayed ordinary gold-framed symbols. A gold border alone does not promise a conversion. Here, C means column from left to right; R means row from top to bottom.
These are adjacent, actual History boards, rather than animation frames. They establish the winning gold positions and the subsequent Wild positions. They do not assign the entire next-round prize to those Wilds alone.
A high display multiplier can accompany no prize
Each main-game spin starts at ×1. After a winning round pays and the new symbols fall, the multiplier increases by one. Spin 5 recorded seven rounds: 0.12, 3.60, 5.22, 1.20, 0.30, 0.36 and 0.00. The display reached ×7, but the final round had no win. The highest multiplier that actually paid in the sample was ×6, paying 0.36. The completed 10.80 payout already includes the round multipliers; multiplying it by seven again would be wrong.
Round 6: ×6 pays 0.36. Two three-reel J Ways pay 0.06 before the multiplier. Round 7: ×7 accompanies “No Winning Combination.”

Spin 55 · Round 1 · ×1 The gold character at C2R4 joins a 0.30 win. Round 2 · ×2 That position is Wild. The full round pays 0.96; gold maracas at C3R4 also wins. Round 3 · ×3 The maracas position becomes Wild. K pays 0.45 and Q pays 10.80, for 11.25.

Spin 55 ended after five rounds, paying 0.30 + 0.96 + 11.25 + 0.48 + 0.00 = 12.99. It was the largest complete payout in this sample, or 21.65 times its 0.60 cost. The 11.25 third round was one part of that total.
Spin 55’s actual final screen confirms the whole-spin 12.99 total after the remaining rounds. This is the settlement outcome of the same sequence shown above. Left: spin 5’s complete payout was 10.80; its final ×7 round paid zero. Right: spin 55’s complete payout was 12.99. Both totals already include their paying-round multipliers.

What the Free Spins rules say
Three Scatters anywhere trigger 12 Free Spins; each additional Scatter adds two. The feature can retrigger and uses the triggering spin’s Size and Level. Its starting multiplier is ×1, increasing after winning rounds, and every ordinary symbol on reel 3 is gold-framed during the feature. Natural Free Spins did not trigger in these 100 paid spins, so these are Help-based rules rather than a report of playing the feature.
No usable Bonus Buy or EX control was found in the loaded game, opened panels or complete Help. The practical conclusion for this tested build is ordinary paid spins with the possible Scatter-triggered feature.
Bet cost, RTP and the published limits
Item | Verified basis |
|---|---|
Sample stake | 0.03 Size × 1 Level × 20 Base Bet = 0.60 per paid spin |
Loaded-build bet range | Size 0.03–0.90; Level 1–10; total 0.60–180.00 demo units |
Additional cascade cost | 0.00; the paid spin is charged once |
Currency | Not identified in the sampled interface; amounts are demo units, not Philippine pesos |
Supplier theoretical RTP | 96.73%, stated in PG’s official information PDF |
Supplier volatility label | Medium (“Session Volatility”) |
Supplier advertised maximum win | 25,000× advertised maximum, not an independently verified hard cap |
Observed sample return | 91.95% from 55.17 ÷ 60.00 |
The supplier figures come from its official Game Information PDF, Version 1.0 r935, updated 8 July 2025. That document version does not identify the runtime build we played. Its 96.73% is a long-run model statement, not a promise for a session or a configuration independently confirmed inside this demo.
Two figures in the PDF need particular care: 68.64% and 28.09% add up to the stated overall RTP as contributions to that model; they are not separately verified mode RTPs. The PDF’s 2,525× “Max Exposure” from a billion-spin simulation is also different from its advertised 25,000× maximum. Neither figure describes our best recorded spin.
The slot simulator can help explore how stake and repeated costs affect a session. It is a general illustration, not a reproduction of Wild Bandito’s unpublished mathematics. Set a spending limit before play; a rising cascade multiplier does not make the next paid spin more likely to recover a loss.
What happened in 100 settled demo spins
The sample ran from 16:16 to 17:22 UTC on 5 October 2026, or 00:16 to 01:22 Philippine time on 6 October. It contains 100 settled paid spins at 0.60 each: the first two at Normal speed and the remaining 98 at Turbo. Payouts combine every recorded round within each paid spin, and each stake is counted once.
Metric | Result |
|---|---|
Paid parents / History rounds | 100 / 154, including terminal no-win rounds |
Cost / payout | 60.00 / 55.17 |
Net result / sample return | −4.83 / 91.95% |
Parents with payout / no payout | 21 / 79 |
Net profit / break-even / net loss | 12 / 0 / 88 |
Largest complete payout | 12.99 on spin 55; net +12.39 |
Longest verified no-payout run | 18 paid spins within one uninterrupted recorded session |
Highest display / paying multiplier | ×7 / ×6 |
Natural Free Spins | No trigger recorded |
A paying spin is not necessarily a profitable one. Nine of the 21 paying spins returned less than their 0.60 stake. The 154 History rounds are the internal steps of 100 paid spins, not 154 separately purchased spins. The 2-versus-98 speed split is too uneven to use as a return comparison.
Actual settled balances, with a deliberately narrow vertical range to show small changes. Purple covers spins 1–55, teal 56–99 and amber spin 100. The resets before spins 56 and 100 are breaks, not wins.

Session range | Paid spins | Opening → closing balance | Cost / payout / net |
|---|---|---|---|
1–55 | 55 | 100,000.00 → 100,002.70 | 33.00 / 35.70 / +2.70 |
56–99 | 44 | 100,000.00 → 99,993.07 | 26.40 / 19.47 / −6.93 |
100 | 1 | 100,000.00 → 99,999.40 | 0.60 / 0.00 / −0.60 |
Cumulative sample return starts at 505% because the first 0.60 stake paid 3.03. It continues across the whole sample without restarting the cost denominator. The dashed 100% line marks sample break-even, not theoretical RTP.

Each bar is a complete paid spin’s payout minus 0.60. Spin 55’s +12.39 is the largest net gain. Cascade subrounds are not separate bars, and wallet resets do not enter the calculation.

Three uncertain inputs are outside the sample
One early input had no independently verifiable final result. Two later attempts produced “Transaction Failed” server messages. They were excluded rather than assigned invented losses, payouts or refunds. After each server error, Reload restored a 100,000 demo balance, a 12.00 default bet, Turbo off and an empty current History. We reset the stake to 0.60 before continuing in a new session.
The next successfully settled spins are counted as new inputs, not retroactive settlements of those failed requests. This keeps the 100-spin arithmetic clean, but cannot establish what happened to the unknown requests on the server. The wallet recovery observed here also says nothing about real-money account recovery.
The trade-offs and our verdict
How it differs from nearby PG games
Game | Mechanism to compare | Who may prefer it |
|---|---|---|
Wild Bandito | 5 × 4, 1,024 Ways; winning gold frames become Wild and the multiplier increases round by round. | Readers who enjoy following one cascade into the next. |
5 × 3; collected gold-frame multipliers are applied to the whole-spin win at the end. | Those who prefer a final multiplier reveal over Wild Bandito’s per-round accounting. | |
Mahjong Ways | 5 × 4, 1,024 Ways; the main-game multiplier follows ×1 / ×2 / ×3 / ×5, with a different Free Spins ladder. | Those who find a fixed multiplier ladder easier to track. |
3 × 3; its symbol-retaining respin and ×10 all-symbols-winning condition differ from gold-frame cascades. | Those looking for a smaller board and a different respin trigger. |
The comparisons use the captured rules for those games, rather than ranking their unrelated short samples. Their multipliers work at different stages, so the largest displayed number is not a useful shortcut for deciding which game to play.
Editorial score: 7.5/10. I like the way Wild Bandito turns a winning gold frame into a meaningful next-round opportunity. Its ordinary game is worth learning in the slower mode, with History open after an interesting result. The cramped landscape layout and the easy confusion between round multiplier, payout and profit keep it from being an effortless first slot. The score reflects those design and usability trade-offs, not whether this particular sample ended up or down.
For a first look, use the embedded demo on this page when available. Keep the stake low, follow the first gold-frame conversion, and read the final whole-spin payout once. There is no need to chase a higher displayed multiplier to understand what makes the game distinctive.
