Fortune Mouse by PG SOFT Expert Review
Updated:
Here you can find detailed review information about Fortune Mouse by PG SOFT.
I would choose Fortune Mouse as a starting point for learning fixed-line slots. My verdict is 7.5/10.
What I liked
✅ The small 3×3 board, five fixed paths and itemized line highlights make ordinary Wild and multi-line wins easy to trace.
✅ Central Wilds and changing outer reels give the respin feature a clear objective and a short suspense sequence.
✅ Portrait keeps the reels, amounts and controls together.
✅ Completed results can be checked against both detailed History and the wallet.
What I didn’t like
❌ Paytable units need conversion before they become cash amounts.
❌ Most variety sits in one feature; no extra-bet or purchase choice was found.
❌ Celebratory WIN feedback can hide a loss or mere break-even after the stake, and animated counters are not settlement.
❌ Landscape keeps a small portrait stage, shrinking text and targets.
❌ Two transaction errors interrupted the demo, with balance and settings resets after Reload.
A real 12-second Normal-speed excerpt from spin 2. It starts about 0.54 seconds after the click, with the reels already moving, and continues through their stop and the recorded settled screen. It does not show a complete click-to-settlement sequence or 12 seconds of continuous reel movement. The source capture has no audio.
1. What Fortune Mouse offers
This review covers Fortune Mouse by PG SOFT, the Chinese New Year, Year of the Rat-themed slot. It is a three-reel, three-row game with five fixed paylines, seven symbols and a feature in which the middle reel becomes Wild while the outer reels respin until a win. Check the provider when searching: similarly named apps and games from other suppliers are separate products.
PG SOFT introduced the game in 2020. Its launch announcement dated 16 January 2020 describes the central-Wild feature; that announcement date does not establish a single first-play date for every operator. The official product information confirms the PG SOFT identity and advertised specifications.
Philippine search interest. The following are Ahrefs' raw estimated average monthly searches for PH, queried on 5 October 2026. They describe keyword searches, not unique players, active users or game popularity measured by play.
Keyword | PH searches/month | Reading the result |
|---|---|---|
fortune mouse | 100 | Main identity term; keyword difficulty 26 |
fortune mouse demo | 10 | Trial intent |
fortune mouse pg | 0 | A returned zero estimate, not a missing result |
fortune mouse game | 20 | Related game search |
fortune mouse slot | 10 | Related slot search |
fortune mouse casino | 10 | Related casino search |
These overlapping phrases should not be added together. The review, RTP, how-to-play, feature and Philippines seed phrases did not return results in that check; their volumes are unavailable, rather than confirmed zero. The search results also mixed in app downloads and a different supplier's same-name game, which makes the PG SOFT identity especially useful.
When the demo is available, you can try it on this page. Start by confirming the displayed bet and opening Paytable; the examples below use demo amounts, with no verified currency designation.
2. Reading the screen and using the controls
The red-and-gold artwork is busy around the edges, but the actual game is compact. A green roof frames the reels, the mouse character sits beneath them, and the balance, bet and main buttons are grouped below. That short reading path is one of the design's strengths: you can move from the winning line to the payout and then to the balance without searching across a wide desktop.

The settled screen after spin 1, with balance 99,999.85 and bet 0.15. English callouts identify the real interface; they do not imply every button was exercised.
Reels: three columns and three rows. Read a combination from the leftmost reel.
Payline markers: the five line numbers beside the reels identify three horizontal and two diagonal paths.
Message / WIN bar: shows game messages or a payout. A displayed WIN is not the net result after the stake.
Wallet / menu: the profile icon opens Cash Wallet and the settings menu.
Available balance: the amount available to wager at that moment.
PG button: its position and logo are visible; its specific action was not verified.
Bet / Bet Options: the displayed bet opens the bet-selection panel.
Turbo: shortens the main-game reel animation. It is a speed setting, not an extra-bet mode.
Minus: reduces the bet amount.
Spin: starts a spin at the current bet.
Plus: increases the bet amount.
Auto Spin: opens the available spin-count choices.
What the opened panels actually show

Three separately captured states: Cash Wallet and its five menu entries; a 0.15 bet selected before Confirm; and Auto Spin with 10 highlighted. The different balances and footer bets belong to different capture moments.
The wallet menu contains Sound, Paytable, Rules, History and Quit. Paytable and Rules were opened and captured in full; History was used to verify settled results. Sound and Quit are visible entries, but this review makes no listening-test or successful-exit claim. The supplied capture contains no sound, so there is no basis for rating the music or audio synchronization.
Auto Spin offers 10, 30, 50, 80 or 1000 spins, followed by Start. The panel proves that the options were available and 10 was selected. It does not prove that an automatic batch was started or completed. Turbo is a separate on/off control. If you use Auto, decide the stake and a spending limit first; automated repetition does not change the underlying chance of a win.
Portrait is the clearer layout

390×844 portrait viewport: the reels, balance, bet and bottom buttons fit within the saved screen.

844×390 landscape viewport: the game remains a roughly 220-pixel-wide portrait stage with background on either side.
In portrait, the 0.15 bet and 99,999.70 balance were legible, and opening Bet Options then pressing Confirm returned successfully without changing the bet or adding a spin. Landscape kept all major controls visible but shrank the amounts and button targets substantially; it did not rearrange the game into a wider control layout. I would choose portrait for reading the amounts.
These were desktop Chrome simulations at 390×844 and 844×390, rather than tests on a physical iPhone or Android phone. Touch accuracy, hardware rotation, mobile performance and Philippine network availability were not evaluated, and the landscape buttons were not individually exercised.
3. Five paylines, Wild substitution and the payout calculation
Fortune Mouse pays matching symbols consecutively from the leftmost reel to the right. A line pays only its highest winning combination, while wins on different lines are added. Wild substitutes for all symbols and also has its own listed payout value. There is no adjustable number of active lines: all five are fixed.

The game's own five-line visualization. Numbering rows from top to bottom, lines 01–05 are 2–2–2, 1–1–1, 3–3–3, 1–2–3 and 3–2–1.
A useful payout conversion. The seven entries below use the values printed in Paytable. The ordinary symbol names describe their appearance; only Wild is explicitly named on the symbol graphic. For a winning line, multiply the printed value by Bet Size × Bet Level. At the sample setting that is 0.03 × 1, so a displayed value of 5 pays 0.15 on one line.
Symbol | Paytable value | One winning line at 0.15 total bet | Role |
|---|---|---|---|
Mouse Wild | 300 | 9.00 | Substitution and its own line value |
Gold mouse emblem | 100 | 3.00 | Paying symbol |
Red envelopes | 50 | 1.50 | Paying symbol |
Money bag | 30 | 0.90 | Paying symbol |
Firecrackers | 15 | 0.45 | Paying symbol |
Orange | 5 | 0.15 | Paying symbol |
Peanuts | 3 | 0.09 | Paying symbol |
These are calculated line amounts, not claims that every symbol combination occurred in the sample. The full-screen Wild maximum has its own rule, discussed below. The printed table values are neither cash amounts nor multipliers of the total stake. Total bet includes all five lines: Bet Size × Bet Level × Base Bet 5.
Break-even and multi-line examples
Spin 3 made an orange win on line 01. Its expanded History formula reads 0.03 × 1 × 5 = 0.15. With a 0.15 stake, that payout recovered the cost exactly: net result 0.00. Spin 1, by contrast, had no winning combination and lost its 0.15 stake.

Spin 3's actual expanded line formula. The transaction identifier has been physically cropped out of the exported image.
Spin 36 shows why it matters to inspect every winning line. Its top and middle rows were both oranges, paying 0.15 on line 01 plus 0.15 on line 02 = 0.30. After the 0.15 stake, the net gain was 0.15. The two payout rows belong to the same settled spin.

Spin 36: two separate orange paylines, total payout 0.30, net gain 0.15. Original board and payout pixels are retained, with identifiers removed by cropping.
4. Ordinary Wild wins and the central-Wild respin feature
A Wild win does not automatically start the feature
Spin 15 connected a Wild in the bottom-left position with gold mouse emblems in the centre and top-right. That is line 05, the rising diagonal. The ordinary line payout was 100 × 0.03 × 1 = 3.00, producing a 2.85 net gain after the 0.15 stake.

Spin 15: one ordinary Wild-substitution win on line 05. Both the highlighted main screen and History show the 3.00 payout.
The sample's largest payout was also an ordinary result. In spin 64, the top and middle rows were red envelopes–Wild–red envelopes, and diagonal line 04 was red envelopes–Wild–Wild. Lines 01, 02 and 04 each paid 1.50: total payout 4.50, net gain 4.35. Its middle reel contained Wild, Wild and an orange, so this was not the three-central-Wild respin feature.

Spin 64: three ordinary line wins total 4.50, equal to 30 times the 0.15 stake. The central orange is important when distinguishing this result from a feature trigger.
The actual feature: spin 98, from trigger to final award
During a spin, three Wild symbols may be added to the middle reel. The first and third reels then respin until there is a win. This is the rule shown in the captured Help, and the sample contains one verified occurrence: paid parent spin 98.

The original Help illustration explains the mechanism. The next images are actual History stages from spin 98.
The paid trigger cost 0.15 and initially had no winning combination. History then lists five respins, each with Bet 0.00. The first four produced no payout. On respin 5/5, both outer reels were filled with firecrackers, making all five lines win through the central Wilds.

Selected chronological stages from the same paid parent: trigger → respin 1/5 → respin 5/5. Intermediate respins 2/5–4/5 are included in the accounting below, rather than invented as animation frames.
Spin 98 stage | Cost | Payout | Observed result |
|---|---|---|---|
Paid trigger | 0.15 | 0.00 | Three central Wilds; no winning combination |
Respin 1/5 | 0.00 | 0.00 | No winning combination |
Respin 2/5 | 0.00 | 0.00 | No winning combination |
Respin 3/5 | 0.00 | 0.00 | No winning combination |
Respin 4/5 | 0.00 | 0.00 | No winning combination |
Respin 5/5 | 0.00 | 2.25 | Five firecracker lines, 0.45 each |
Whole paid parent | 0.15 | 2.25 | Net gain 2.10 |

Five lines × 0.45 = 2.25. The parent paid only 0.15, so 99,997.93 − 0.15 + 2.25 = 100,000.03.
Those five free respins remain inside one paid parent. They do not turn the sample into 105 paid spins, and the 2.25 child-stage total is not added to another 2.25 parent total. Counting either twice would overstate the return.
The saved live-screen sequence begins at the award display, rather than the feature opening. It shows MegaWin 2.25, followed by WIN 2.25 while the footer briefly counts through 0.74, and finally a stable footer WIN 2.25. History and the settled wallet establish the final amount; the transitional 0.74 is not another award.

The captured award-display portion only. These stills do not reconstruct unseen trigger or respin animation. The final payout is 2.25, verified against the completed History stages and wallet.
A separate Help rule awards 1000 times the total bet when Wilds occupy all reels. Spin 98 had firecrackers on the outside and did not meet that condition. The maximum was not achieved or independently validated by this sample. No EX surcharge or BUY BONUS entry was found in the inspected main screen, wallet menu, Bet Options, Auto panel or complete Paytable and Rules.
5. Bet cost, RTP, volatility and the maximum win
Parameter | Supported value | Scope |
|---|---|---|
Lines / board | 5 fixed / 3×3 | Captured Rules and screen |
Sample cost per paid parent | 0.15 | Confirmed Bet and all 100 ledger rows |
Observed minimum | 0.03 × 1 × 5 = 0.15 | Selected and confirmed in this demo |
Help bet range | Bet Size 0.03–0.90; Bet Level 1–10 | With Base Bet 5, the upper formula is 45.00; maximum stake was not placed |
Feature respins | Bet 0.00 in all five observed respins | Included in paid parent spin 98 |
Official RTP | 96.96% | Supplier product data, not an RTP field in current Help |
Official session volatility | Medium | Supplier label, not inferred from 100 spins |
Maximum win | 1000× total bet | Supplier specification and full-screen Wild Help rule; not reached |
The default Bet Options setting was 0.30 × 2 × 5 = 3.00. The selected minimum was 0.03 × 1 × 5 = 0.15. In the earlier panel image, the footer still says 3.00 because Confirm had not yet been pressed. The separate confirmed screen below shows the actual 0.15 bet. Check that final amount after changing the controls.

After Confirm, the main screen displays 0.15. All money figures in this review are demo units; no Philippine peso denomination was verified.
The official PG SOFT product information lists 96.96% RTP, Medium session volatility and 1000× maximum win. The complete captured Help did not list RTP, so the official figure should not be presented as a directly inspected current-session RTP setting. Operator configurations and currency limits should be checked on the version being played.
Our finite sample returned 14.19 ÷ 15.00 = 94.6%. That is a description of these spins, not the game's theoretical RTP. The gap from 96.96% does not diagnose a different setting, establish fairness or predict the next session. A displayed win also needs the stake deducted: a 0.09 peanut line on a 0.15 bet is still a 0.06 loss.
The slot simulator can help explore the difference between a long-run return assumption and short sessions. It is an educational tool, not a recreation of Fortune Mouse's undisclosed probability model or a forecast of its next result. No betting progression removes the risk of losing the budget you set.
6. What the 100 completed demo spins showed
The sample was captured on 5 October 2026 UTC, corresponding to 6 October in Asia/Shanghai. It contains exactly 100 settled paid parent spins, all at 0.15: 99 in Turbo and one in Normal speed, the latter being spin 2 in the early video. Speed changes animation duration; this sample does not establish a speed-related difference in payout probability.
There were three sessions. Two additional attempted inputs ended in transaction errors, with their final results still unknown; both were excluded. Game-window Reload restored access twice, but reset the demo balance to 100,000.00, the bet to 3.00 and the speed to Normal. The collector then reselected 0.15 and Turbo. At those moments History showed zero records; that observation does not establish permanent loss of the earlier records or the cause of the errors.
Sample segment | Parents | Cost | Payout | Net | Sample return |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Session 1: spins 1–15 | 15 | 2.25 | 3.60 | +1.35 | 160.00% |
Session 2: spins 16–72 | 57 | 8.55 | 6.57 | −1.98 | 76.84% |
Session 3: spins 73–100 | 28 | 4.20 | 4.02 | −0.18 | 95.71% |
All settled paid parents | 100 | 15.00 | 14.19 | −0.81 | 94.60% |
Outcome measure | Observed count or amount |
|---|---|
Positive payout / zero payout | 23 / 77 parents |
Net profit / break-even / net loss | 9 / 10 / 81 parents |
Positive payout that still lost money | 4 parents |
Largest payout | Spin 64: 4.50, or 30× the stake; ordinary three-line win |
Verified feature triggers | 1 parent, spin 98, containing 5 free respins |
Longest no-payout run within one session | 9 parents |
Longest net-loss run within one session | 20 parents |

Settled wallet balances in demo units. Lines break at both Reload boundaries. The baseline changes of −1.35 after spin 15 and +1.98 after spin 72 are session resets, not spin results, and are excluded from cost, payout and profit.
The final displayed wallet was 99,999.82, but subtracting it from the original 100,000.00 would miss those resets. Summing the actual settled spins gives −0.81. This is why the balance chart keeps the three segments separate rather than drawing a false recovery between sessions.

Cumulative sample return = all payouts so far ÷ all paid cost so far. Accumulation starts at spin 1 and continues across sessions; it does not restart after Reload. The 100% line is a sample break-even reference, not theoretical RTP.
Large individual line wins make visible steps in this small sample. Spin 64 was the largest payout even though it did not trigger the feature. One observed feature in 100 parents is a sample count, not a reliable estimate of its trigger rate.

Net per parent = final whole-parent payout − actual paid cost. Spin 3 is exactly break-even; spin 100 pays 0.09 but loses 0.06. Spin 98 appears once at +2.10.
The important practical distinction is 23 paying spins versus only 9 profitable spins. Ten awards merely returned the stake and four paid less than it. This result is useful for interpreting the screen's feedback, but neither those proportions nor the loss streaks should be projected as long-run probabilities. The demo also does not test deposits, withdrawals or real-money settlement.
7. Strengths, drawbacks and how it compares
Fortune Mouse or Fortune Tiger?
Fortune Tiger by PG SOFT is a useful comparison because it also uses a 3×3 board, five fixed lines and Wild substitution. Its feature has a different rhythm: one non-Wild symbol is selected, and the reels contain that symbol, Wilds or blanks. Existing symbols stay in place while additional symbols allow another respin; the feature ends when no new symbol appears. Tiger also applies a 10× multiplier when all reel symbols participate in a win.
Comparable dimension | Fortune Mouse | Fortune Tiger |
|---|---|---|
Board / lines | 3×3 / 5 fixed | 3×3 / 5 fixed |
Feature progression | Three middle-reel Wilds; outer reels respin until a win | A selected symbol, Wilds and blanks; existing symbols stay while new additions continue respins |
Distinct reward rule | Full-screen Wilds award 1000× total bet | 10× multiplier when every reel symbol is involved in a win |
Supplier RTP / maximum | 96.96% / 1000× | 96.81% / 2500× |
Best fit in this comparison | Following a clear central-Wild, outer-reel sequence | Watching retained positions accumulate and tracking a full-board multiplier condition |
Tiger's rule comparison is based on its captured game Rules; the RTP and maximum specifications come from PG SOFT's Tiger product information. A higher maximum or the small difference in supplier RTP does not establish which game will return more in the next session. Tiger's results have not been mixed into this Mouse sample.
Verdict: 7.5/10. I prefer Fortune Mouse for learning to read fixed-line outcomes: spin 36's two orange lines, spin 64's ordinary three-line Wild win and spin 98's free respins make the distinctions concrete. The feature is easy to explain without a long list of modes. I would be less enthusiastic if you want numerous bonus choices, a genuinely expanded landscape interface or frequent net-positive feedback. The rating reflects those design and usability tradeoffs, not the sample's small loss.
When available, use the demo on this page to open the rules, confirm the stake and follow one completed result in History. If you move to real-money play, follow your local age and gambling rules, use only money you can afford to lose, and treat the demo as a way to learn the interface rather than a promise of future returns.
