Gates of Olympus Super Scatter by Pragmatic Play Expert Review

Updated:

Here you can find detailed review information about Gates of Olympus Super Scatter by Pragmatic Play.

Gates of Olympus Super Scatter keeps the familiar gem-tumbling board, then adds a special Scatter with a much larger prize ladder. The key detail is easy to miss: one Super Scatter on its own does not pay the advertised 100×. The combined Scatter trigger still has to be met. I like the way the game shows individual tumble awards, but the extra feature prices and special-symbol rules deserve a careful first look.

What I liked

✅ The tumble list makes a multi-step win easier to follow.

✅ Help clearly separates ordinary, Ante and two Buy configurations.

What I didn’t like

❌ Larger Ante and Buy quotes compete with the actual footer BET for attention.

❌ The portrait layout leaves small controls and wide blank areas.

1. The Super Scatter edition, with its own rules

This is Gates of Olympus Super Scatter by Pragmatic Play, identified in the recorded public demo as vs20olympgold. The logo includes SUPER SCATTER, and this edition’s Help includes the new symbol and a 50,000× round limit. Use that exact title when selecting the game; the original Gates of Olympus and other sequels have different feature specifications.

Pragmatic Play’s 28 April 2025 launch announcement introduced this edition. The official game page and the recorded in-game Help are the identity and rules sources used here.

What Philippine readers search for

On 8 October 2026, Ahrefs returned 450 estimated monthly Philippine searches for “gates of olympus super scatter” and 1,100 for “gates of olympus super scatter demo”. The RTP and review modifiers each returned 10. These are separate keyword estimates averaged over the latest known 12 months. They are not unique-player counts, and adding them would not produce a reliable audience total.

The strong demo query makes a clear explanation of the board and costs especially useful. It does not establish how often people play, how much they spend or whether the game offers good value.

2. Three prices on the screen mean three different things

The 6×5 grid sits between the feature controls and Zeus. The gold objects and colored gems are easy to distinguish, while the left-side award list records payouts as a tumble develops. CREDIT, BET and WIN sit along the bottom with Spin, Autoplay, speed, stake and menu controls.

Gates of Olympus Super Scatter interface with actual USD0.20 BET, Ante OFF and two Buy quotes

The bottom BET is the ordinary spin cost. The left-side 0.30 is an inactive Ante quote; 20 and 100 are separate feature prices.

Read the bottom BET first. Throughout the 50 ordinary spins, it was USD0.20 in demo credits. The left-side BET0.30 beside OFF was the proposed Ante cost, not the amount charged. The two large BUY prices, USD20 and USD100, were feature quotations. Treating any of those as the ordinary stake would give the wrong picture of the session.

The Help describes Normal, Quick and Turbo speed settings. The recorded sample used 48 Turbo spins and two Normal spins. Speed makes the presentation shorter; it does not change the cost accounting. Wait for a stable final WIN and CREDIT when checking a result, because the balance counter can still be moving after the spin button turns white.

3. Match eight anywhere, then follow the tumbles

Nine ordinary symbol types pay by the number present anywhere on the board. They do not need to touch or form a fixed line. Eight is the minimum; the payout bands are 8–9, 10–11 and 12–30 matching symbols. The native symbol cards on this page carry their complete payouts and the exact bet denominator.

Winning symbols disappear, remaining symbols fall and new ones arrive. More than one symbol type can pay during the same sequence. The game continues until no further combination wins, then credits the complete tumble result. There is no Wild in this edition’s documented symbol set.

Gates Super Scatter spin 3 settled with USD0.69 WIN

Spin 3 combined five tumble awards into one final payout of USD0.69.

Spin 3 is a useful small example. Blue gems paid 0.05, yellow gems 0.10, green gems 0.08, goblets 0.30 and purple gems 0.16 across the sequence. Together they produced the final USD0.69 WIN. Count that final total once; the intermediate awards are its components, not extra payouts to add again.

At a USD0.20 cost, this was a USD0.49 net gain. A smaller positive WIN can still leave a net loss after the stake. That distinction becomes important when reading the sample results below.

4. Super Scatters need a qualifying trigger

The current Help requires at least four Scatter and Super Scatter symbols in any combination to start 15 free spins. If that qualifying combination contains one, two, three or four Super Scatters, the instant award is 100×, 500×, 5,000× or 50,000× the total bet respectively. The special symbol does not remove the combined-count requirement.

One Super Scatter on the ordinary board in spin 7

A lone Super Scatter was visible. The combined four-symbol trigger was not met, so no instant prize or free spins followed.

In the recorded sample, spins 7 and 41 each showed one Super Scatter without other Scatters. Both paid zero, and neither started free spins. Those are actual appearances, not successful feature triggers. The visual effect can look significant even when the qualifying combination is absent.

This edition’s Help page explaining the combined Super Scatter trigger and free spins

The current Help ties the Super Scatter award to a qualifying combined Scatter trigger.

The winged multipliers also need a win

Winged orbs can carry values from 2× to 500×. In the ordinary game, the Help says their values are added at the end of the tumble, then that sum multiplies the tumble award. Their colors are appearance labels; the evidence does not establish a fixed value for each color.

Gates Super Scatter spin 24 showing blue12x and green3x orbs

The 12× and 3× orbs appeared in spin 24, but the spin had no ordinary-symbol win and paid zero.

Spin 24 showed a blue 12× and green 3× orb, yet there was no ordinary-symbol award to multiply. The spin returned zero. It would be misleading to describe that as a paid 15× win. No confirmed positive payout in the 50-spin record demonstrated an applied orb multiplier.

Free spins and the two purchase options

The Help starts free spins at 15 and awards five more when at least three Scatters land during the feature. Multipliers from winning free spins join a running feature total; later qualifying wins with a new multiplier use that accumulated value. The free-spin reels differ from the ordinary reels, and Super Scatter does not appear during free spins. Reaching the 50,000× cap ends the round and any remaining free spins.

Buy Free Spins costs 100× the total bet. Buy Super Free Spins costs 500×; the latter has a minimum 10× orb and its purchase-trigger board gives four, five or six Scatters. Ante adds 50% to the ordinary cost, is described as increasing the free-spin chance and disables BUY while active.

These are this edition’s Help rules. The 50-spin run used ordinary mode with Ante off: no feature purchase, Ante spin, natural free-spin entry or retrigger was tested. The review therefore does not turn those rules into claims about observed bonus frequency or what a purchase normally returns.

5. Keep theoretical RTP separate from the sample

The recorded Help shows Medium volatility and ordinary stakes from USD0.20 to USD360 with Ante off. It also gives a separate theoretical RTP for each mode. Those figures describe the displayed configuration; another site may offer a different one, so check its Help rather than assuming every version is identical.

Gates of Olympus Super Scatter Help listing RTP configurations and Medium volatility

Theoretical RTP differs by mode in this demo Help. These values are not estimates from the 50-spin run.

The higher Ante percentage is not a reason to ignore its 50% higher cost. At the sampled setting, 50 ordinary spins cost USD10, whereas the displayed Super Free Spins quote alone was USD100. They are very different spending commitments, and the ordinary sample cannot evaluate either purchase option.

For Philippine players, USD here is the demo’s displayed currency, not a claim about a local casino’s peso limits. Confirm the actual account currency, active mode and total stake before comparing amounts. The AskSpinner slot simulator can illustrate how repeated bets affect a budget; it does not reproduce Pragmatic Play’s undisclosed game model or predict the next result.

6. Fifty ordinary spins: USD10 spent, USD2.73 returned

The 6 October 2026 ordinary run contained 50 settled spins at USD0.20, all with Ante off. Total cost was USD10.00, payout USD2.73 and net loss USD7.27. The wallet moved from USD100,000.00 to USD99,992.73 without a balance adjustment. Sample return was 27.3%, calculated as payout divided by cost.

Thirteen spins had a positive payout, but only six paid more than the stake. There were no break-even spins and 37 returned nothing. Spin 3’s USD0.69 was the largest payout, or 3.45× its cost. Spins 34–46 formed a 13-spin zero-payout run. The longest consecutive net-loss run was 26 spins, from 21–46, because the small awards on spins 23, 31 and 33 still did not cover USD0.20.

One continuous ordinary-mode wallet series. All amounts are USD demo credits; Ante stayed off.

Gates Super Scatter cumulative sample return ending at 27.3 percent

The curve is cumulative recorded payout divided by recorded cost, not the game’s theoretical RTP.

Gates Super Scatter per-spin net results for 50 ordinary spins

Small positive payouts can still appear below zero here because the stake is subtracted.

These results describe one short sample, not a forecast. They cannot validate the listed RTP, establish long-term volatility or tell you that a bonus is due. What they do show is how easily several small wins can coexist with a substantial loss across a short session.

The original Normal-speed clip shows ordinary spin 12 and its idle pause. That spin returned zero. It is not footage of a free-spin or Super Scatter reward.

7. Clear in landscape, more demanding in portrait

The best part of the presentation is the tumble list: it gives small wins a visible trail instead of leaving only a changing total. The main usability cost is the number of attention-grabbing feature elements around it. A glowing Super Scatter, a pair of multiplier orbs and three different price displays each need their own rule before they mean anything financially.

In the portrait-size simulation, the landscape game remained centered inside a tall screen. Large blank areas above and below left the controls and Help text small. The Help button opened, but the layout asked for more reading effort.

Gates Super Scatter in portrait-size simulation with black space around the landscape game

Portrait-size simulation keeps the landscape game inside a tall screen, leaving large blank areas and smaller controls.

The landscape-size simulation showed the full board and footer more comfortably, and the settings menu opened and closed. This is a layout observation, not evidence of physical-phone speed, battery use or local network reliability.

Gates Super Scatter in landscape-size simulation with full board and footer

The landscape-size view gives the reels and footer more usable space.

My score is 7.3/10. The readable pay-anywhere board and itemized tumble awards make the ordinary game easy to follow, while the small portrait controls, competing price displays and extra Super Scatter trigger condition add reading effort. I would choose this edition for its traceable tumble loop and distinct feature rules. The recorded ordinary run never reached the headline feature, so the free-spin and Buy experience remains untested. Understanding the combined trigger, watching the actual bottom BET and judging the final settled payout are more useful than reacting to a spectacular symbol on its own.
