Sugar Bang Bang by FA CHAI Gaming Expert Review
Updated:
Here you can find detailed review information about Sugar Bang Bang by FA CHAI Gaming.
What I liked
✅ Golden-to-Wild changes and rising multipliers make cascades easy to follow.
✅ Extra Bet visibly opens three cells and clearly shows its higher cost.
✅ Portrait controls keep balance, payout and bet easy to read.
✅ General and Extra purchases show separate upfront quotes.
What I didn’t like
❌ Landscape makes the narrow game and financial text smaller.
❌ A payout can still leave a loss after the Extra Bet surcharge.
❌ Tapping through a big-win display started an unintended extra paid spin.
❌ Extra Buy uses an unclear bet reference, so its live quote needs checking.
1. Sugar Bang Bang: the original candy game
I like Sugar Bang Bang most when a small cascade changes the shape of the next win: a Golden symbol becomes a Wild, a candy bomb spreads, and the multiplier steps up. Its Extra Bet is also unusually easy to see. Pay 50% more and the three covered cells at the top open, taking the board from 1,024 to 2,000 ways. That is a meaningful choice, but it is not a promise of better returns.
This review covers Sugar Bang Bang by FA CHAI Gaming, also branded FC, game 22043. It is the first generation, not Sugar Bang Bang 2 (22071). The official product page lists 15 August 2022, 96.5% RTP, Medium volatility and a 3,000× maximum multiplier. Those are supplier specifications; the recorded build is ver.9d4d954.
Normal speed, ordinary spin 25. The 12-second silent clip shows the spin, a 0.10 payout animation and the idle period recorded afterward.
Philippine search interest. Ahrefs, checked on 6 October 2026 with country PH, estimates 1,600 average monthly searches for “sugar bang bang” and 1,500 for “sugar bang bang demo”. These are keyword estimates over the latest known 12 months, not player counts. Results mix the original with the sequel, so the figures cannot be assigned exclusively to this game or added together as unique demand.
2. The screen, controls and mobile layout
The bright fruit and candy symbols are easy to tell apart, while gold backgrounds mark a useful change of state rather than a separate paytable. The original board has five reels with four active rows. Extra Bet opens the three covered top cells on reels 2–4; the outer reels stay four symbols high.

The complete functional game screen, with numbered callouts added to an original screenshot. Normal mode shows 1,024 ways, WIN 0.00 and TOTAL BETS 0.40.
Multiplier strip: the active normal cascade level follows 1×, 2×, 3× and 5×.
Covered top cells: the extra positions open when Extra Bet is enabled.
Extra Bet: switches the expanded board on or off and changes the real cost.
BALANCE: remaining demo credits, shown separately from the current award.
Speed: the lightning control changes presentation speed.
Auto: the small circular-arrow control opens automatic-spin settings.
Minus: reduces the selected bet level.
Ways: displays 1,024 in Normal and 2,000 with Extra Bet.
Buy Feature: opens the General and Extra purchase choices.
WIN: the current spin’s payout, which is not its profit.
TOTAL BETS: the selected actual total cost, 0.40 here.
Spin: the large central button starts a manual spin.
Plus: increases the selected bet level.
Menu: the three-line button opens settings and Help.
Manual spins retained the selected 0.40 Normal and 0.60 Extra Bet amounts through the next spin in this session. The recording used the fastest visible pink-lightning/double-triangle setting for most spins, changed to the purple-lightning/single-triangle Normal setting for the clip, then restored the fast setting. The Auto entry was visible; its full stopping behaviour was not tested.

Desktop simulation of a 390×844 viewport. The full-page images are 390×848 pixels. Main controls are readable; Help opens but is dense, and touch scrolling was not verified.

At a simulated 844×390 viewport, the game remains about 220 pixels wide. The full-page image is 844×394 pixels. The menu worked and the main controls were not clipped, but the amounts were much smaller.

The menu actually opened in portrait simulation. This proves the visible menu state, not successful execution of every setting or full Auto stopping behaviour.
I would use portrait for reading the board. These were desktop viewport simulations, not physical-phone touch tests. The first demo load was blank and worked after one refresh; that single occurrence does not establish a general loading problem. Audible sound, Philippine-network performance and mid-spin reconnection were not assessed.
3. Reading wins, Wilds and the paytable
Matching symbols pay across adjacent reels from left to right. This is a ways game, so symbols do not need to sit on one straight line. For example, two matching symbols on reel 1, one on reel 2 and one on reel 3 create 2 × 1 × 1 = two three-reel combinations. Using the blue rectangle’s 0.02 value at original bet 0.40 and a 1× multiplier would pay 0.04. This is an illustration, not a reported spin result.

The left Help diagram has two matching positions on reel 1 and one each on reels 2 and 3. The right diagram fails because an intervening reel breaks the sequence. The 0.04 calculation is an explanatory example at the Help bet, not an observed award.
Winning symbols disappear and new symbols drop into the gaps. Further matches can continue the same paid spin. Read its final WIN once the sequence is complete; adding the running WIN again at each cascade would count the same money more than once.
The symbol atlas on this page holds the complete ordinary-symbol payouts. Its values use the original 0.40 bet for one 3/4/5-reel combination, before combination count and the applicable cascade multiplier.
The rainbow-gem Wild substitutes for symbols except Scatter. The crowned golden-bear Scatter triggers free games: collect three for ten initial free games. The candy-bomb Featured Wild has a different job, creating Wilds through copying in the base game or vertical expansion during free games.
4. Golden symbols, cascades, free games and Extra Bet
Golden symbols set up the next cascade
Golden symbols appear on reels 2, 3 and 4 and count as the same symbol as their ordinary counterparts. When a Golden symbol is part of a winning removal, its original position becomes Wild. In Extra Bet spin 15, a Golden blue rectangle won and a Wild later occupied that exact position. The screenshots capture the matching stages, with a gap in the middle of the transformation animation.

Extra Bet spin 15: Golden blue rectangle on reel 2, winning highlight, then Wild in the same position. The 0.02 visible during the sequence is an intermediate display.
Normal cascade multipliers are 1×, 2×, 3×, then 5× for the fourth and later wins. They reset to 1× when the spin stops winning. The increasing multiplier applies to that stage’s award, rather than multiplying every earlier payout again.
Free games change both the multiplier and the bomb
Free games use 2×, 4×, 6× and 10× cascade levels. Three further Scatters add five free games, with repeat additions allowed up to the Help’s maximum of 50. Both recorded purchases completed ten free games; neither a +5 retrigger nor the 50-game limit was confirmed in play.
The Featured Wild can appear only after a Golden symbol is removed. Help describes random copying into Wilds in the base game. In free games it instead expands randomly upward and downward. It still does not replace Scatter. The clearest recorded example is free game 8/10 in the Extra purchase: one bomb on reel 4 becomes five readable Wilds.

Extra purchase, free game 8/10: bomb, expansion and five-Wild end state on reel 4. The separately recorded General free game 7/10 showed four Wilds below a covered top cell; its single-bomb starting image was missing.
Extra Bet buys more active positions
At the recorded original bet of 0.40, Extra Bet costs 0.60. The active reel heights change from 4×4×4×4×4 = 1,024 ways to 4×5×5×5×4 = 2,000 ways. Help still calculates winning points from original bet × odds. Paying 50% more does not also increase the underlying 0.40 paytable by 50%.

Normal and Extra Bet are different recorded moments. Their total costs are 0.40 and 0.60 respectively; the three top cells visibly unlock with Extra Bet.
5. Real costs, Buy Feature and RTP
The amounts below are demo units, not Philippine pesos. The tested settings establish 0.40 Normal and 0.60 Extra Bet costs, but not the build’s full minimum-to-maximum betting range.
Option recorded | Cost | Final payout | Net result |
|---|---|---|---|
General 1,024-way purchase | 20.00 | 24.64 | +4.64 |
Extra 2,000-way purchase | 30.00 | 90.72 | +60.72 |
Help describes General as 50× and Extra as 75× “current total bet”. The observed quotes were General 20.00 with TOTAL BETS 0.40, and Extra 30.00 with TOTAL BETS 0.60. Thus 30.00 = 75 × original 0.40 = 50 × actual Extra 0.60. Multiplying the Extra display by 75 would give 45.00, which was not the quoted or deducted price. I would read the current purchase quote rather than assume that ambiguous wording defines its denominator.

General purchase: balance 1,986.12 before buying, 1,966.12 after the 20.00 debit, and 1,990.76 after the full 24.64 award. The quote overlay hides the balance, so the pre-purchase amount comes from the preceding completed game screen.

Extra purchase: 1,990.76 → 1,960.76 after the 30.00 debit → 2,051.48 after the full 90.72 award. Free-game child payouts are already included in that purchase total.
The supplier’s 96.5% RTP is a long-run specification, not a target for a short session. Current Help did not expose an independently readable runtime RTP setting. Medium volatility and 3,000× maximum are also supplier labels, not conclusions drawn from these spins. Although the product page carries a Progressive Jackpot feature label, this build’s Help did not establish jackpot eligibility, a meter or a trigger, so there is no verified jackpot mechanism to explain here.
For the sample, return means final payout divided by actual cost, including the Extra surcharge. The largest Normal quota payout was 8.58, or 21.45 times its 0.40 cost. Extra’s largest was 6.04, or about 10.07 times its 0.60 cost; dividing by the original 0.40 would instead give 15.10. The slot simulator can help explore how costs and variable outcomes affect a session; it does not reproduce this game’s unpublished mathematics.
6. What happened in the recorded session
On 6 October 2026, build ver.9d4d954 completed a quota of 50 Normal and 50 Extra Bet spins, followed by one purchase of each feature. One additional Normal spin began while dismissing a big-win presentation. It cost 0.40, paid zero and remains a separate event, outside the 100-spin quota. Each paid spin includes its complete cascade payout; each purchase includes all its free-game payouts once.
Group | Events | Cost | Payout | Net | Sample return |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Normal quota | 50 | 20.00 | 21.10 | +1.10 | 105.50% |
Extra Bet quota | 50 | 30.00 | 15.42 | −14.58 | 51.40% |
Main quota total | 100 | 50.00 | 36.52 | −13.48 | 73.04% |
Additional Normal event | 1 | 0.40 | 0.00 | −0.40 | 0% |
All paid spins | 101 | 50.40 | 36.52 | −13.88 | 72.46% |
Separate purchases | 2 | 50.00 | 115.36 | +65.36 | 230.72% |
All actual events | 103 | 100.40 | 151.88 | +51.48 | 151.27% |
Normal paid something on 14/50 spins (28%), but only five spins made a net profit. Extra paid something on 19/50 (38%), with five net-profitable spins and one break-even spin. The longest zero-payout stretches were 12 Normal and six Extra spins; the longest net-losing stretches were 17 and 14. More payout animations did not mean more profit in this session.

All actual events in their recorded order. The session starts at 2,000.00 and ends at 2,051.48, with no balance reset. Event 40 is the additional Normal spin; the two purchases are events 102 and 103.

The black line accumulates all 103 events from the session start, including actual Extra costs and both purchases. Blue independently tracks all 51 Normal spins, including the additional event; orange independently tracks the 50 Extra spins. The overall endpoint is 151.27%; the separate 100-spin main quota returned 73.04%.

Top panel: final payout minus cost for 101 paid spins, including the additional Normal event. Bottom panel: two separate purchases. Their combined +65.36 reverses the −13.88 result of all 101 paid spins. The main 100-spin quota alone was −13.48.
The two buys drove the overall gain. With only one of each purchase, that result is not a sound basis for choosing Buy Feature, and the two consecutive 50-spin batches do not establish that one mode has a better long-run return.
7. My verdict and the difference from Sugar Bang Bang 2
My rating: 7.5/10. I would choose the original for its visible board expansion and readable Golden-to-Wild chain. Normal mode is the clearer place to learn the flow at a lower cost per spin; Extra is worth understanding as a different board configuration, not treating as a profit upgrade. The busy award presentation makes me prefer a deliberate pace.
Decision point | Sugar Bang Bang | Sugar Bang Bang 2 |
|---|---|---|
Identity | FC / game 22043 | FC / game 22071 |
Ways | 1,024 Normal; 2,000 Extra | 1,024 |
Golden removal | Wild in the same position | Wild in the same position plus 1× |
Extra Bet | 1.5× cost; opens three top cells | 1.5× cost; upgraded Golden symbols can appear in base play and replace ordinary Golden symbols in free games; their removal adds 2× |
Supplier maximum | 3,000× | 5,000× |
The sequel changes what Extra Bet does rather than simply enlarging this board again. I prefer the first game when I want to read the extra positions at a glance; the sequel is the more relevant comparison if the additional Golden-symbol multiplier is what interests you. These differences come from the respective Help and supplier materials, not a contest between unrelated short-session winnings. Read the Sugar Bang Bang 2 guide.
