Appears on all reels. A total of 3/4/5/6/7 combined Scatter and Super Scatter symbols anywhere awards 10/12/15/20/30 free spins, respectively. During free spins, the same counts award the same numbers of additional spins. No adjacency is required. When that combined total is at least 3 and includes Super Scatter, 1/2/3/4 Super Scatter symbols award 100/500/5,000/50,000× total bet, respectively. These are alternative tiers, not cumulative; one Super Scatter by itself does not satisfy the condition.

Updated:

Here you can find detailed review information about Sugar Rush Super Scatter by Pragmatic Play.

What I liked

✅ Visible prices for distinct modes.

✅ Genuinely different preset-multiplier starts.

✅ Separate cluster detail helps explain awards.

What I didn’t like

❌ Base stake, special-spin charge and purchase price use different cost references, making the active mode harder to read at a glance.

❌ Dense position values, cluster sums and animated award totals compete for attention.

❌ Portrait simulations reduced the game area further and made the stake and Help text harder to read.

1. A more demanding branch of Sugar Rush

Sugar Rush Super Scatter adds substantially more cost and feature choices to the familiar 7×7 candy board. The key question is how those choices change what you are paying for. At the same displayed USD 0.20 base stake, the tested version charged USD 0.20 for an ordinary spin, USD 1 for Ante Bet, USD 2 for Super Spin 1 and USD 50 for Super Spin 2.

Our demo review covers 50 settled spins in each of those four modes, plus one ordinary Free Spins purchase and one Super Free Spins purchase: 202 paid events in total. They cost USD 2,780 and returned USD 2,004.24, a net decrease of USD 775.76 in non-redeemable demo credits. That result is a record of this mixed session, not a recommended mode strategy.

Pragmatic Play’s 15 January 2026 announcement identifies three special-bet choices and two purchases as available in selected markets. It does not provide a country list. All five options were visible in our inspected session, which does not establish their availability with every Philippine-facing operator. For Philippine readers, start with AskSpinner’s demo entry where available and check the actual Help, menu and currency before assuming these options or prices apply.

Philippine search interest

Ahrefs reported an estimated 350 monthly searches in the Philippines for “sugar rush super scatter” when checked on 7 October 2026. This is its latest-known 12-month average search-demand estimate, not a count of players, visits or game quality.

2. The screen and the controls that matter

Candy shapes, gummy bears and a pink machine frame surround the grid. BUY FEATURE and SPECIAL BETS sit on the left; the winning-cluster breakdown is on the right. CREDIT, BET and WIN appear along the bottom beside the spin control. During a tumble, animated awards and multiplier numbers can be busy. The stopped result is the place to read the completed payout.

Sugar Rush Super Scatter completed ordinary purchase, showing USD 5.17 payout and Special Bets off.
Figure 1. After the ordinary Free Spins purchase: WIN USD 5.17, BET USD 0.20, Special Bets off. The USD 20 REBUY display does not mean another purchase occurred.

Two checks become especially important here. First, distinguish the base stake used to quote feature prices from the actual cost of a selected special spin. Second, distinguish a multiplier written on a board position from the combined multiplier in the right-hand win breakdown. Both differences can change how a result is understood.

After a purchased feature, REBUY appears. The ordinary USD 20 REBUY confirmation was opened and cancelled; the balance stayed unchanged. The USD 100 Super REBUY was displayed but not executed. Neither is an additional purchase in the results.

Desktop simulations of portrait 390×844 and landscape 844×390 layouts showed a small game area and small stake/Help text in portrait, with easier reading in landscape. Help was opened and closed successfully. These were layout checks, not real-phone or touch-performance tests; no audio listening assessment was made.

3. The ordinary-game foundation

At least five matching symbols must connect horizontally or vertically to form a paying cluster. Diagonal contact alone is insufficient. Winning symbols disappear, symbols above fall and new ones arrive. Further clusters belong to the same paid spin until the tumble sequence ends.

The symbol module on this page provides the individual payout illustrations. The game’s distinguishing additional symbol is Super Scatter, which must be understood alongside the regular Scatter. The captured Help lists seven ordinary paying symbols plus those two trigger symbols, and does not list a Wild.

Keep one financial result for the whole spin. Its final WIN already includes the settled tumble awards, so adding the right-hand awards again would double count. Likewise, each purchased Free Spins feature has one final payout containing its free subspins. Ordinary cluster payouts follow the Help’s base-bet calculation, while the selected special mode can charge substantially more than that base amount.

4. What changes across multipliers, Special Bets and purchases

Position multipliers: rules and observed examples

A first winning removal marks a position; a second creates 2×, and further qualifying removals double it up to the stated single-position limit of 1,024×. Covered multiplier positions add together for a winning cluster. Ordinary-game values last through that spin’s tumbles, while Free Spins retain marks and multipliers across the feature.

Ordinary spin 38 gives a clean example: two 2× positions contributed a combined 4× to one award, and two 4× positions contributed a combined 8× to another. The 8× win-panel figure was not an 8× square. In Super Spin 2 event 185, selected frames instead clearly showed individual positions progressing from 32× through 64×, 128× and 256× to 512×. The next spin’s new layout returned to 32× across the grid. The observed single-cell 512× is therefore stronger evidence than a large cluster total, but it still does not demonstrate reaching 1,024×.

Sugar Rush Super Scatter selected event 185 image with individual positions showing 512×.
Figure 2. Selected Super Spin 2 evidence from paid event 185 shows readable 512× positions. The separate win-panel totals are cluster sums.

Three special modes, three very different costs

At a USD 0.20 base stake, Ante Bet cost USD 1 and its menu advertised ten times the chance of reaching Free Spins. That is a stated rule, not a probability multiplier established by our 50-spin sample. Super Spin 1 cost USD 2 and supplied randomly positioned preset multipliers; an observed starting 128× square in event 103 was followed by a zero-payout result. Super Spin 2 cost USD 50 and showed all 49 positions beginning at 32× in the reviewed starting boards. Those presets also did not guarantee a winning cluster.

Help uses internal bet multipliers of 20, 100, 200 and 5,000 for ordinary, Ante, Super Spin 1 and Super Spin 2. The actual observed charges were USD 0.20, USD 1, USD 2 and USD 50. In particular, 5,000 is not an instruction to multiply the displayed USD 0.20 by 5,000; Super Spin 2 cost 250 ordinary stakes in this configuration.

Free Spins, Super Scatter awards and the two purchases

A combined three, four, five, six or seven Scatters and Super Scatters awards 10, 12, 15, 20 or 30 Free Spins, with the corresponding retrigger counts during the feature. Under the captured rules, a qualifying trigger containing one, two, three or four Super Scatters has distinct instant-award tiers of 100×, 500×, 5,000× or 50,000× total bet. These tiers are alternatives, not values to add. No instant Super Scatter award was observed in this test, and we have not converted those tiers into unobserved Super Spin 2 cash prizes.

The ordinary USD 20 purchase started with ten Free Spins and finished with ten, returning USD 5.17. Its reviewed representative images showed individual positions as high as 8×. The USD 100 Super purchase was different: four ordinary Scatters produced twelve Free Spins, and all 49 positions started at 2×. It finished with twelve and returned USD 149.92. There was no observed Super Scatter instant award or retrigger in either purchase.

Initial 49-cell 2× board during the first of 12 Super Free Spins, with 11 shown remaining.
Figure 3. Super purchase, first free-spin starting board: all 49 positions begin at 2×. The counter already reads 11 because the first of the initial 12 spins has started.

In the Super purchase, the highest complete individual position value among the 20 selected mechanism images was 64×. That is a statement about those representative images, not a maximum found by reviewing all 1,080 captured frames. In the final free spin, an orange-heart cluster’s combined 120× multiplier turned its USD 0.80 base award into USD 96. A red-bear award added USD 1.68. Together they brought the feature’s running USD 52.24 to its final USD 149.92; those components are already included in the final return.

The ordinary purchase was entered while Super Spin 2 was active and BET showed USD 50, yet the actual purchase charge was USD 20 from the USD 0.20 base. During the feature, Special Bets switched off and BET returned to USD 0.20; Super Spin 2 did not automatically resume afterward. Help describes BUY FREE SPINS as disabled under Ante. We could open the purchase menu with Ante active; that menu says Ante and Super Spins are disabled during feature buys. No purchase was executed from that Ante-active state, so opening the menu does not show whether a purchase could complete with Ante still active. The recorded behaviour supports checking the mode after a feature, not assuming special-bet effects stack with a purchase.

5. The six RTP figures and their actual costs

The captured Help supplies a separate theoretical RTP for each mode and labels the game high volatility. The values below describe that version; the sample-return column records only what happened in the test. The different buy-ins are essential to reading both.

Help displays a USD 0.20 minimum and USD 60,000 maximum, but the maximum was not verified separately for every mode. It would be misleading to present USD 60,000 as a confirmed ordinary-spin maximum.

The mixed sample return was 72.09%, calculated as USD 2,004.24 divided by USD 2,780. It is not a seventh theoretical RTP, and the six sample percentages must not be averaged equally. Super Spin 2 alone used USD 2,500, about 89.93% of the total cost, so it dominated the mixed result.

The AskSpinner slot simulator can illustrate why larger per-event costs make a hypothetical balance move more sharply. It is a separate educational model, not a reproduction of this game’s undisclosed maths or a substitute for the test ledger. Set any entertainment limit around the actual selected cost rather than the smallest base-stake number on a menu.

6. Reading the 202-event test without losing the denominator

The completed demo test on 7 October 2026 used 50 ordinary spins, 50 Ante spins, 50 Super Spin 1 spins and 50 Super Spin 2 spins, followed by the two purchases. The first ordinary spin was captured at Normal speed; the remaining financial sampling used Turbo. These were sequential samples, not randomly assigned experimental groups.

Across all 202 events, 64 returned a positive payout and 138 paid zero. Only 28 were profitable; 174 reduced the balance and none broke even. Ante is a clear example: 15 spins paid something, but only one covered the USD 1 charge. A Super Spin 2 payout of USD 19.20 still meant a USD 30.80 loss against its USD 50 cost.

Separate Sugar Rush Super Scatter demo balance histories before and after the session change at paid event 130.
Figure 4. Two actual demo wallets, shown separately. The new wallet starts at event 130; no line or income entry bridges the reset. Purchase debits and settlements are separate points. Each wallet panel has its own vertical scale.

The first wallet contains events 1–129. An unconfirmed attempt after that session expired is excluded. Valid event 130 onward belongs to a fresh USD 100,000 demo wallet. The first group lost USD 50.01 and the second lost USD 725.75, giving the recorded USD 775.76 total loss. The replenished balance is not a payout, and subtracting the last wallet balance from the first wallet’s start would give the wrong combined result.

Per-mode cumulative sample returns and six final sample-return values for Sugar Rush Super Scatter.
Figure 5. Returns use actual settled payouts divided by actual costs. The mode curves each contain 50 spins; the two purchases remain separate one-event results. The 100% guide means break-even. Panel vertical scales differ.

Super Spin 1’s largest payout was USD 50.32 at overall event 141. Super Spin 2’s largest was USD 446.40 at event 185, yet its complete 50-spin group still lost USD 828. A memorable high-value frame is therefore a poor substitute for the full cost and return totals.

Sugar Rush Super Scatter net results for 202 settled paid events across six modes.
Figure 6. Net result for every settled paid event, separated by mode with independent vertical scales. Free subspins belong to their purchased feature’s final payout.

The two purchases contain ten plus twelve free subspins, not 22 additional paid events. The cancelled ordinary REBUY and unexecuted Super REBUY also add no events. No natural Free Spins trigger or instant Super Scatter award was observed during the 200 paid spins; with capture gaps and this small sample, no trigger probability can be inferred.

The 13-second Normal-speed illustration is compiled from 112 timestamped screenshots, repeating real frames and including time after the spin stops. It has no audio and is not native continuous video. Feature and large-win screenshot sequences contain gaps, so they do not prove every intermediate multiplier step. Real-phone performance, sound quality and recovery of the expired wallet or unfinished attempt were not tested. Availability and loading performance on Philippine networks have not been verified.

7. Strengths, drawbacks and the series comparison

The original Sugar Rush and Xmas use the inspected 128× single-position and 5,000× total-win ceilings. Sugar Rush 1000 raises them to 1,024× and 25,000×. Super Scatter retains a 1,024× position ceiling but has a 50,000× total-win rule, the added trigger symbol and the special options documented here. These are differences in rules and interface. Our sample’s positive Super Spin 1 and Super purchase results do not establish either as the better long-term choice.

For a broader comparison, Gates of Olympus counts matching symbols anywhere on a 6×5 board. Super Scatter instead needs side-connected clusters on 7×7. Its persistent multiplier positions should also not be confused with the other game’s multiplier symbols.

We rate Sugar Rush Super Scatter 7.6/10 for the playing experience. Its preset starting boards add meaningful variety, and the separate cluster breakdown can explain how an award was built. For a general reader, however, switching between the base stake, special-spin fee and purchase quotation adds more interpretation than in 1000, while dense multiplier displays and cramped portrait text make that work harder. We therefore prefer 1000’s balance of variation and readability at 7.9. This judgment concerns presentation and mode clarity, not the price alone, a zero-paying preset board, or a missed feature in our sample. Start in the demo and check the active mode and actual charge after a feature.
